2012 ProSPER.Net Young Researchers’ School (YRS)

On behalf of Universitas Gadjah Mada and the United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS), we are pleased to invite all ProSPER.Net member institutions to participate in the 2012 ProSPER.Net Young Researchers’ School (YRS).

Following the previous editions successfully hosted by RMIT and Hosei University, Universitas Gadjah Mada will host the 2012 YRS with UNU-IAS support from 17 to 28 September in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The theme of this year’s school will focus on ‘Building a Resilient Society in Asia’.

We kindly ask ProSPER.Net members to invite PhD students who are working in the field of sustainable development to apply for the YRS Scholarship and consider who from your academic staff could be invited as lecturers or resource persons. We would greatly appreciate if each university could also consider internal sources of funds available to support the participation of additional students.
